Hello Grade three community,
What a great full week! This week we started our science unit of Structures, wrote stories about animals, and started book talks in reader's workshop. Megan was the V.I.P for the week and on Monday she will pick the new V.I.P. Yesterday, we had the Terry Fox run, which was a huge success! Thank you to all parents that came to cheer on our runners. In chapel we watched a movie on Terry and his journey, and in class we had numerous discussions about hope, strength, and perseverance. I hope the story of Terry will impact us all to keep going when times get tough, and to live a life of hope.
